I first of all have to say that these streamers are of very good quality, and you cannot beat the price. I would buy orvis flys, but it got to pricey for the fly, I will definitely keep buying from drift hook, not to mention that the free videos in the members portal are very educational, I would recommend this product

The Streamer Surge Fly Fishing Flies Kit fills an important part of my trout fishing flies tackle. Actually, the more I learn about trout fishing, the more I have come to understand the essential nature of streamers—rather like the place of dry flies in most trout fisherman’s tackle box. They are just so versatile but often an overlooked tool that can be used in swift water or as a strike generator for fish who have seen nothing but nymphs! I am sure this will not be my last kit from Drifthook, but like my other kits, it is filled with quality flies in well-thought-out colors and patterns.

I used Drifthook nymphs from the guide collection to catch a few real nice rainbows on the Bitterroot River this fall. I just ordered the dropper rigs collection along with the Streamer collection to use this next year. Drifthook makes good stuff, it’s reasonably priced, and the box is an extra bonus.

I love the flies I received and learned so much from their curation. The box is also attractive and high quality. The one thing that both me and my son noticed on totally separate occasions is that when we got hung up on bottom the hooks bent. This of course could have been entirely situational and had nothing to do with the flies. And we were able to use our hemostats to bend them back into shape. But the flies I have bought at my local fly shop don’t seem to give me this problem as often. I hope the materials used are as quality as the flies appear. I really wanted to give this box five stars, but I could only give 4 because of this one issue.

I have not fished in a number of years and recently started putting together my fly fishing kit. I took a chance on the streamer surge fly fishing flies. What a fabulous kit. I will be trying them out on the White and Norfolk rivers.
